Project Overview

Harrison Forbes Electrical is an electrical services company serving homeowners and businesses in Victoria, British Columbia. They handle the full range — installations, repairs, inspections, EV chargers, solar, lighting upgrades, panel replacements. BBB-accredited since 2024 and growing.

We designed the website in Figma and built it on Webflow. The brief was straightforward: a clean, trustworthy site that explains what they do, surfaces their work, and makes it easy for someone with an electrical problem to get in touch quickly.

The Problem

When a homeowner Googles "electrician Victoria BC," they're not comparing fifty providers. They click on the first few, decide in about ten seconds whether the company looks legitimate, and either call or move on. Three things had to be true on the site, or the call wouldn't happen:

It had to feel professional on first impression — clean, modern, not the dated DIY-template look that most local trades sites get stuck with.

It had to explain the full service range clearly, so visitors didn't bounce thinking "I'm not sure if they do EV chargers."

It had to make the next step obvious — get a quote, request service, call now — with no friction in between.

What We Built

A full site designed from scratch in Figma

Homepage, service pages, about, blog, quote request — designed end-to-end in Figma before a single Webflow component got built. Clean visual language, modern layout, photography that looks like real electricians on real job sites instead of stock-photo-perfect.

Service pages that actually explain the work

Each core service — installations, repairs, inspections, EV chargers, solar — gets its own clear page. Visitors who came in searching for one specific thing find it immediately and understand what's involved before they reach out.

A frictionless quote request flow

A dedicated "Request a Quote" page that captures what the business actually needs to respond well — service type, location, contact details — without overwhelming the visitor with a twelve-field form. Lower friction, higher conversion to a real conversation.

A blog that compounds for local SEO

A CMS-driven blog covering the questions homeowners and business owners in Victoria actually search for electrical safety, EV charger installation, energy efficiency, lighting upgrades, storm preparation. Built so the Harrison Forbes team can keep publishing without a developer in the loop. Every new post extends their local search footprint.

Mobile-first build

Most people searching for a local electrician do it from their phone, often when they already have an electrical issue. Layout, tap targets, and the quote form were tuned for mobile first, desktop second.
